Published in 1990 by the Malta Union of Teachers and the Għaqda Poeti Maltin, on the occasion of Pope John Paul II’s visit to the Maltese islands, this book includes poems by 27 Maltese poets of different styles but all very Maltese at heart. This antology is a monument to the historic event it is celebrating and also a picture of the contemporary style of Maltese poetry.
